Abigail Fayth Rayleen Semons

Date of birth 06-24-2005

Arrival in Heaven 10-16-2026

Abigail went to be in paradise with our Lord and Savior on October 16, 2026. She was born on June 24, 2005 to Peter F. Semons, Jr. and Melanie R. Griffith-Kelly. Abigail has three siblings Katey Brooks-Anne Griffith (now sharing a place in heaven with Abigail), Skylar Nathanial Semons (Belleview, FL) and Carson Noah Semons (Summerfield, FL). Her adoring fiancé Landon Rarick and his huge loving family. Grandparents - Dale and Linda Clifford (Ocala, FL), Richard L. Griffith (Hog Valley, FL), Step Father Roger Kelly (Gainesville, FL) and deceased grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Peter F. Semons, Sr. Great grandmother Mary (Dot) Holmes (Orlando, FL) and deceased great grandfather Raymond J. Holmes. Her sister Katey passed in 2022 leaving behind her two daughters Ameliah Wheeler and Avayah Wheeler who Abigail adored. She loved her dog, Wade, who misses her already. She was so loved by her aunt and uncle, Alicia Clifford-Sturges and Steve Sturges (Belleview, FL) and her cousins Ashley Rutledge, Austin & Jenna Rutledge, Dakota Clifford and Brittany Martin who were more like siblings. She loved their children as if they were her own.

Abigail was born into an enormous loving family that adored her. She leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Her large family will have a huge hole in it as she was such a bright spot and inspiration to them all.

From birth Abigail had a smile that would light up any room and the most spectacular blue eyes anyone had ever seen. She never met a stranger and everyone who knew her loved her. She had the ability to make everyone feel that they were her best friend. She was always so generous and loving. She only saw the good in people and was encouring to anyone in a bad situation. Abbie never disappointed anyone. She was so thoughtful and caring to everyone she knew and even to strangers.

Abigail was brilliant, finishing high school as an 11th grader with high honors. She overcame obstacles that would have crippled a normal person but she was determined to overcome odds and be the best she could, and she did. She was self motivated and in the last quarter of her RN school. She wanted to be a nurse from the age of 3 when she’d play doctor. That was her final goal and there is no doubt she would have become the best doctor. She worked at several places achieving her goals including obtaining her Insurance CSR with her Nannie at Clifford Insurance (which is a family owned and operated agency), Moe’s Restaurant and most recently UF - The Villages Hospital where she worked as a nurse and loved her job, her patients and her coworkers.

Abigail and Landon were to be married February 20, 2027 and slated to close on their beautiful new home the first of this week. At 21, she qualified to buy her own home as she was always so conscientious about her credit score and always competing with her cousins as to whose credit score was the highest. Landon’s family had embraced her as part of their huge loving family in spite of the wedding being in February. They loved her as their own and are mourning her along with Abigail’s immediate family.

Abbie loved life…period. She was always positive, upbeat, smiling and kind to everyone. She was always supportive of the underprivileged people and had a soft heart of gold. She was generous to a fault. She and Landon had bought everything for their new home and she was so anxious about “nesting” in her new home as she would say.

The tremendous hole that is left in our family in incomprehensible but all of us know that she was an angel on earth and no doubt has taken her rightful place in heaven as God’s perfect angel!
