Salt Springs - Alex Henderson, 69, passed away January 27, 2017. Born in Youngstown, Ohio on March 11, 1947 to Alexander Henderson, Sr. and Margaret S. Henderson. Alex moved to Marion County from Jacksonville, FL in 2004 after retiring as a heavy equipment mechanic.
Alex is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Cindy Henderson, sons Scott Henderson, Andy (Holly) Henderson, daughter Samantha (Jeremy) Geil, grandchildren Alissa, Harrison, Emmalee, Alexandra, Ethan, Azaiah, Jonathan, great-grandson Cruz, sisters Debbie (Steve) Carson, Ann Henderson, and Wendy Savino. Alex was a loving father, husband, grandfather and a friend to all.

Memorial Service will be 11 am, Saturday, February 11, 2017 at VFW, 23498 NE Hwy 314, Salt Springs, FL 32134 with Chaplain Fred Higgins officiating. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
