GARDNER, ALVIN GERALD, 58
Ocala - Alvin Gerald Gardner passed away October 30, 2015, at Estelle’s House.  Born October 23, 1957, to Howard and Nina Pryor Gardner, in Pekin, Illinois.  Alvin lived in Alachua County for the past seven years and recently moved to Ocala.  A Veteran of the United States Army National Guard, he was an over-road truck driver.  Preceded in death by his brother, Howard Lee Gardner, Alvin is survived by his loving wife, Joyce A. Gardner; son, Charles (Angela) Burgess; daughters, Tonya (Bruce) Foster, Latisha (Tim) Crabtree; Liza (Clyde) Wilson, Brooke Gardner; sister Joy Gardner; 18 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and special friend of the family, Joe Darvis and 2 special adopted children, Candy Phillips and Brian Larsen.  Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at Countryside Funeral Home, 9185 NE Jacksonville Rd., Anthony.  Funeral Service will be 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, November 4th at Countryside Funeral Home with interment following in Florida National Cemetery with military honors.
