Amanda Elaine Sweet

Amanda Elaine Sweet, 42, passed away on July 29, 2026 in Ocala, Florida. She was born on September 16, 1983 in Ocala, Florida. She is the daughter of James and Alicia Whitfield.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents James and Inez Lewis, and Charles and Evelyn Whitfield.

She is survived by husband, Joshua Sweet; sons: Cody, Austin, and Justin; daughter: Emma; parents, James and Alicia Whitfield; brother, Christopher Whitfield; sister, Darishia Whitfield.

Amanda was a loving wife and mother. A wonderful daughter and sister. She was kind, caring, and tenderhearted. Always willing to put others needs before her own. She had a great love for her family. She was a pastor's wife for the last eight years to the congregation of Faith Baptist Church in Silver Springs, Florida. She poured her heart into the lives and ministry of the people of the church. She worked at Ocala Christian Academy for the past eight years. She loved her job and the people she worked with very much. She also had a deep love for the young people she was able to help at the school. Most of all, she was a faithful and godly Christian lady who loved her Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.

She will be deeply missed by her family and by all who knew her.

A service will be held on Thursday, August 6th, 2026 at 10AM at Faith Baptist Church in Silver Springs, Florida, with a viewing starting at 9AM.

Countryside has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
