Amelia Mary Sullenger, age 93, of Ocala, passed away on October 17, 2022 at Ocala Regional Medical Center.

She was born on July 10, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan a daughter to the late Jose C. and Lupe (Ramirez) Mojica.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory son Frank Rubio and a daughter Amelia "Linda" McCormack,

granddaughters Erica Sparkman, Patricia Angel-Guerrido and Veronica Buhr, grandsons Alex Angel and Carlos Rubio Charised Great-Grandchildren Richard "Bear" Buhr and Zachary Buhr, Jazmin Haskett, Kira Angel and Mireya Angel, Jeremy Sparkman and Justin Sparkman. Amelia was a very spirited woman, in her last years, she loved to go to the park and feed the ducks, Play cards with her great-grandchildren and enjoying time with her family.

She was an honorary member of the Fraternal order of Eagles #3626 in Ocala where she enjoyed spending her time.

She moved to Ocala in 2018 from Detroit, Michigan where she spent most of her life.

She adored working with the youth, once a social worker to the YMCA of Detroit on Clark Park.

She always gave to the community and will be greatly missed by all
