Anna Marie Coleman

Anna Marie Coleman, 97, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025 in Ocala, Florida. She was born June 25, 1928 to Charles and Blanche Duckworth. She was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and daughter. She was an accomplished musician and was part of a gospel trio that traveled the state of Florida. She would do opera appearances in Jacksonville, Florida. She served as choir director for Salt Springs Christian Church for many years. She was 115 lbs of pure dynamite.

She is preceded by her parents and husband, Kenneth Coleman.

She is survived by her son, Gary Coleman; daughter, Janelle Kulpaka; daughter in law, Linda; grandchildren, Jimmy Coleman, Chris Coleman, Brady, Hannah and Kevin; step grandson, BJ Kulpaka; great granddaughter, Joslyn Kulpaka.

It is the end of an era. She was a stubborn, sassy lady until the end. The world is worse off without her, but we are all better for having lived with her. God now has a new choir director.

A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday August 18, 2025 at Salt Springs Christian Church. Interment to follow at the church cemetery.
