Anne Moll Dake

Anne Moll Dake, age 93, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on February 13, 2026. She was born on January 16, 1933 in Ashley, Pennsylvania - a daughter of John and Susanna Moll, she was the last surviving of 7 children.

She is preceded in death by her husband Eugene S. Dake.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory daughter, Susan Dake Woody (Fred); four grandchildren (Christopher, Steven, David, and Nina): and seven great grandchildren.

Upon graduating from Ashley High School, Anne moved to Washington, D.C. to work for the Navy Department. She later worked in private industry and finished her career in 1989 retiring from the Federal Highway Administration as editor of Public Roads Magazine. After retirement, Anne & Gene moved to Charleston, SC; Brandon, FL; and finally settled in Ocala. Anne spent time volunteering at the hospital and was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha sorority. She enjoyed working on crafts in her spare time – crocheting, sewing, and painting.

A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, February 25, 2026 and 10:00 A.M. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Florida National Cemetery.
