Arthur Gene Proctor

Arthur “Art” Gene Proctor, age 89, of Pedro, Florida, passed away on May 26, 2024.  He was born on July 8, 1934, in Pedro, Florida, the son of Rev. Sidney and Elma Proctor and Violet Miley Proctor. He leaves behind to cherish his memory; his sons Guy Proctor, Alan Proctor (Kathy), granddaughters Darby Proctor and Caitlin Proctor (Jon Sharp); great-grandchildren; Hali and Tristan; two sisters, Opal Fennell and Linda Denson; goddaughter Elisa Smith and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Ida Lee Proctor; son Richard “Ricky” Proctor, brother Vernon Proctor and  sisters Cleo and Naomi. He served 20 years in the United States Air Force serving in the Korean and Vietnam wars, retiring with the rank of T.Sgt. A graveside service will be scheduled at a later date at Pine Level Cemetery in Oxford, Florida.
