Betty Mae Hostetler

Betty Mae Hostetler, age 84, of Ocala, Florida, passed away at home with her family by her side on October 20, 2025. She was born on March 27, 1941, in Charlotte, North Carolina, a daughter of Martin and Molly Broome and the youngest of nine children.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory; husband, Markel Conrad Hostetler; son, Markel Bruce Hostetler (Charlie); daughter, Connie Lee Muldrow (preceded by Rick Muldrow); sister, Shirley Mayrand; three grandchildren; Kara, Kayla and Sheri and six great grandchildren; Cole, Abbie, Kinley, Bo, Cooper and Parker.

Her quiet and gentle spirit will be remembered as we that are left reflect on her life. She loved family get-togethers with the last one being Conrad and Betty’s 65th wedding anniversary on October 3. She was a member of Cornerstone Ocala Church for many years.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025 and 3:00 P.M. at Countryside Funeral Home
