Betty Lou Sykes

Betty Lou Sykes, age 82, of Summerfield, Florida, passed away on December 4, 2023 at home.  She was born on March 27, 1941 in Tivis, Virginia a daughter to the late Claude Cartley and Vada (Edwards) Younce.  She is survived by a son Vergil Alan Sykes, and two daughters Diane Kiser, Brenda Muse, 18 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.  She is preceded by her husband Vergil Sykes and two daughters, Renee Williams and Angela Sykes.  Funeral services have been scheduled for Thursday December 14, 2023 at 11:00am at Countryside Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
