Bobby Gene Dempsey, age 83, of Ocala, passed away on February 7, 2023, at home. He was born on May 8, 1939 in Lithia Springs, Georgia a son to the late James Allen and Mary Marie (James) Dempsey.

Bobby was retired from the United States Navy.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 63 years Carolyn Elizabeth (Bender) Dempsey, a son Robert Rueben Dempsey, twin daughters Cynthia Joy Lowry, Cathy Jean (Patrick) Hall, eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren (including two in the basket!)
