RAINEY, BOYCE “Tuck” TUCKER III, 76
Silver Springs – Boyce Tucker “Tuck” Rainey III, age 76, passed away peacefully at his home, April 25, 2013.  Tuck was born on June 21, 1936 in Dublin, Georgia to B.T. Rainey Jr. and Mary R. Stephens.  “Tuck” as he was known to his family and friends spent most of his teen years in Ocala where he attended Ocala High School until his junior year when he moved to Buena Vista, Georgia and graduated in 1954.  He was awarded the Eagle Scout Badge, and attended the Boy Scout Jamboree in Valley Forge, PA.
He was a big racing fan, loved the outdoors; camping with his family, hunting, fishing, and protecting the woods that he so dearly loved.  His love for the outdoors has been passed onto his children and grandchildren.
Tuck was a true “son of the South”, he loved the South and loved his country dearly.  He was a very dedicated fireman and believed in gaining as much fire training and education he could to be able to pass on his knowledge to others.
Tuck is preceded in death by his wife, Valerie Rainey; parents, Boyce Tucker Rainey Jr. and Mary Stephens; and brother, Steve Rainey.  He is survived by his sons; Rusty (Mary) Rainey, Jon (Leah) Rainey; daughter, Martha Rainey, sisters, Carol Douthit, Genie (Jerry) Ward; sister-in-law, Mona Rainey; aunt, Margaret Heck; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorial Service will be 11 AM, Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Unity Baptist Church , 1290 NE 100th St., Anthony, FL. with Pastor Bob Lovell officiating. Per Tuck’s request, he asked that everyone attend in jeans or casual wear. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County in memory of Tuck Rainey; 3231 SW 34th Avenue, Ocala Fl.  Arrangements by Countryside Funeral Home.
