Buster Stratton

Shellie “Buster” Elton Stratton, 73, passed away on February 10, 2026 in Ocala, Florida. He was born October 3, 1952 in Jacksonville, Florida. He served in the United States Army. He enjoyed being an airbrush artist for many years and worked for Jerry’s Indoor Archery as an instructor. He later became an author.

He is preceded by his parents, Clyde Cook and Marie Johnson; sister, Cecilia Desch and Belinda Gibbs; brother, Michael Dozier.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Stratton; daughter, Twila Buckner; sons, Daniel Stratton (Ashley) and Patrick Stratton; sisters, Lorie Beasley (James), Linda Lawrence (Gary) and Mary Mccaffery (Robert), 6 nieces and 5 nephews; grandchildren, Taj, Mario, Arsen, Gabriela, Nicholas, Kassidy and Hailey.

A celebration of life service will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday February 28, 2026 at Countryside Funeral Home. Casual dress is appreciated.
