Carl "Greg" Gregory Weathers

Carl Gregory “Greg” Weathers, age 74, of Ocala, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026, following a battle with Parkinson’s disease and dementia. He was born on December 3, 1951, in Germany, and was later adopted by T.J. and Nancy Weathers.

Greg dedicated much of his life to the insurance industry, where he became known for his unwavering work ethic, professionalism, and dedication to others. Those who knew him will remember him as a caring and gentle man whose kindness left a lasting impact on the people around him.

Strong in the Christian faith, Greg carried his beliefs throughout his life and found comfort and strength in them during difficult times. Outside of work, Greg was known for his dry sense of humor, his love of movies and television, and his undeniable sweet tooth. He found joy in life’s simple comforts and in spending time with those he loved most.

Above all else, Greg loved his family deeply.

Greg is survived by his mother, Nancy Weathers; his son, Lance Weathers; his daughters, Lauren Weathers and AnnaGrace Weathers; and his brother-in-law, Russ Weathers.
