Carol Carden

Carol Carden, age 79, of Ocala, Florida, passed away February 3, 2023 at home.  She was born on October 16, 1943 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Carl and Opel Smith.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by five siblings.

Survivors include a son Scott (Marianne Meldrum) Monroe, two brothers J.T. Smith, Ellery Smith, three sisters Loretta Falke, Kathy Smith, Peggy Puckett and two grandchildren Kyle and Dalton Monroe.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Wednesday February 15, 2023 at 1:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home with visitation for one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow in Millwood Cemetery, Reddick, Florida.  Donations to Hospice of Marion County in lieu of flowers.
