Ocala - Carol Ann Slater, 72, passed away October 29, 2015. Born March 9, 2015 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to James Y. Henderson and Edna Corrine Hudspath Henderson, she moved here in 2001 from Gathersburg, Maryland. She worked for United States Postal Service as a Letter Carrier. She is survived by her husband 37 years, Phillip L. Slater; sons, Christopher Smith and Phillip Slater Jr. A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL with Chaplain Hugh Fbroking officiating.
