Micanopy - Catherine Ramsey, 90, passed away peacefully at home October 24, 2015. Born in Beijing, China on September 24, 1925 to George Ritchey and Caroline Vermillion. She was a homemaker and the secretary of the family cattle farm. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Ramsey, and her sister. There will be a graveside service at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 29, 2015, at Evergreen Cemetery, Gainesville, FL with Rev. John Parker officiating.
