Charles "Charlie" Hamilton, age 83, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on August 29, 2023 from a tragic vehicle accident. He was born on September 18, 1939 in Florala, Alabama a son to the late Lee Peter and Ella (Allen) Hamilton. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a daughter Patricia Dorman, brothers: Winfred, Joe, Noah, Fred, and Emile, sisters: Boncile Anderson and Mary Ellen Brooks, and five half-brothers. Charlie was retired from Ring Power Corp. where he worked for 42 years. After a short retirement, he went to work with Art Walker Construction until his death. He was also a veteran of the United States Army. He leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years Sylvia Ann (McNeill), a son Chuck Hamilton, a daughter Susan Chambers, five grandchildren, Crissie Blackburn, Justin Chambers, James and Tyler Dorman, Taylor Hamilton and one great grand child Noah Gazzara.
Charlie loved life and was always helping others. He was a Super Hero. His ultimate goal was to reach 200 gallons of blood donations, but due to his death, he was only able to reach 181 gallons, which saved countless lives. He loved to work, put puzzles together, and mow the lawn. He was an avid collector of Hot Wheels and was also a die hard Gator fan. He touched so many people because he was a likable jokester and always smiling!

A Funeral has been scheduled for 10 a.m. with visitation for one hour prior , Friday September 8, 2023, at Berean Baptist Church, 4800 SW 20th St, Ocala, Florida 34474
