Ocala - Charles Richard Hemminger Jr., 72, passed away March 22, 2015 peacefully at home. Born March 26, 1942, in Patchogue, Long Island, NY, to Charles Richard Hemminger Sr. and Johana Lindenmeier. He married Carrie Emily Jensen in 1965 and they moved here from Vermont in 1976. He is a Veteran of the United States Army, and worked as a carpenter for Shoaf and Sons for over twenty five years.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Carrie Emily Hemminger; son, Brian Scott Hemminger, Cleveland, TN; daughter, Melissa Lee Rodgers, Ocala; sister, Susan Gunderman, NC; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 26, 2015, at the Countryside Baptist Church, 11525 W Hwy. 40, Ocala, FL 34481, with Pastor Mike Kirby officiating.
