Silver Springs - Charles Carroll Melton, Jr., 61, passed away April 1, 2017. Born in Ludlow, Kentucky on August 20, 1955 , he was the son of Charles and Donna B. Melton, Sr. Charles has been a Marion County resident since the early 90's and was the owner of Wigglers Bait and Tackle, Silver Springs, FL.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ann Reynolds; sons, Joe Melton, Michael Boots, Charlie Wallace, Jason Wallace, Chris Talmadge; daughters, Tracy Ostendorf, Kelly Melton, Nikki Carman, Heather Boostedt, Misty Wallace, Cindy Wallace, Carrie Kreuer, Dona Reynolds; brother, Joe Ducan; sisters, Brenda Bay, Cindy Melton, DeLaine Duncan Ward; 40 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was a beautiful soul and will be missed by many.
Memorial Service will be Saturday, April 8, 2017, 2:00 p.m., at One Life Fellowship, Ocala, FL. with Pastor Jon officiating. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home.
