Charles “Chuck” Hall

December 18, 1944 — March 4, 2023

Charles “Chuck” Frederick Hall, beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and treasured friend to so many peacefully passed on from this life on March 4, 2023 in Ocala, Florida. Chuck was born on December 18, 1944 in Evanston, IL.  He graduated from Evanston Township Highschool in 1962 and Northwestern University in 1966. Chuck enlisted in the United States Army in 1966 and was accepted into Officer Candidate School in 1967 and ultimately retired Major USAR in 1987.  He also retired from Aetna Insurance after holding positions in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin, but most enjoyable for Chuck was his long-standing position at Golf Galaxy in the Milwaukee area where he was able to enjoy his favorite past time while helping his clients in the sport.  Chuck relished visiting golf courses around the country and especially playing military courses with his brother, Don, also a retired military officer.  Chuck wanted the time with you to be filled with fun and meaningful memories. There isn’t a picture of him with others that doesn’t sparkle with his infectious smile and remind you of that moment.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Philip and Ione Brandt Hall, his beloved wife, Toni Marie John Hall, his sister, Phyllis Hall Barrow, and brother in-law, Elmo Barrow.  He is survived by his daughters, Rayna Hogan-Spellman (Michael), Ocala, FL, Catherine Jacobson (Bob), Rochester, NY, and his son Charles W. Hall (Jamie), W. Milwaukee, WI and his stepdaughters, Christine Blanchard, Lynne Koch (Andreas), Angela Nelson (Greg), and Shari Turzenski (Mike). He is also survived by his sister Carolyn Barrow (Red) and his brother, Don Hall. Chuck adored his 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and loved attending every event possible.  Countryside Funeral Home in Anthony, FL thoughtfully cared for Chuck and his final resting place will be alongside his beloved wife at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookefield, WI.
