Cheryl Mary Purks

OCALA, Cheryl M. Purks, passed away on August 27, 2024, at AdventHealth Ocala. She was born on January 20, 1945, in Manhattan NY. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph T. Purks. 

She was the most patient, heart filled, self-sacrificing, strong, angelic mother, and friend to have ever graced the earth. She had a profound love for her family. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping, dancing, playing cards, listening to music, gardening, babies, being spontaneous, traveling out on the road. She loved her cat Holly and rescuing cats when she could. She will be immensely missed by those who have survived her, including her daughters: Kimberly K. Fritsche (Peter), Lori L. Mathews, Amy C. Anderson (Robert), and her son Michael S. Purks (Jessica). Her grandchildren: Kyle A. Fritsche, Braidyn L. Young (Caleb), Jasmine R. Wilson, Isabella G. Bink (Nicholas), Giovanni X. Mathews (Aila), Robert B. Anderson II (Alana), Bradley C. Anderson (Bryona), Megan M. Purks, Madilyn S. Purks, Olive R. Purks, River R. Purks, and her great grandchildren: Nolan X. Freytes, Robert B. Anderson III, Gracelyn M. Anderson and Skylynn S. Dildine.
