Christine Elizabeth Powell

Christine Elizabeth Powell, age 36, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on February 12, 2026. She was born on June 27, 1989, in Gainesville, Florida, the beloved daughter of Christopher and Mary Powell.

 Christine passed away surrounded by the love of those who cherished her most. She was a devoted and loving mother to her two sons, Elijah Torres and Jacob Torres, who were the center of her world and whom she treasured deeply. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Chaia Powell, Haley Powell, Summer Patterson, and Brinlee Warnke; Stepdad Charles Thompson grandmother Sally Powell Uncles Marty & Allen Aldridge and Jimbo Thompson Aunts Karen Watts, Samantha Aldridge, Leslie Powell along with many dear cousins and friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and warmth. 

Anyone who knew Christine loved her, and she loved them just as deeply in return. Christine was a hardworking and dedicated woman who spent time working at a daycare, caring for children with patience and compassion, and worked for many years at McDonald’s, where her friendly spirit and strong work ethic left a lasting impression. 

She was also pursuing her education in Early Childhood Development, following her passion for nurturing and helping young children grow. She found great joy in spending time with family and friends, loved to travel, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Her gentle heart, caring nature, and beautiful spirit will never be forgotten. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Judy and Walter Aldridge, and her aunt, Cindy Slater. Grandfather Richard Powell and aunt Cheryl Powell Christine’s love, laughter, and light will live on in all who knew her.

A visitation will take place Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 10:00 A.M - 12:00 P.M. at Countryside Funeral Home. 

We will be releasing balloons and having her repass at Wrigley Field Park in citra FL from 12:30pm to 5pm
