October 18, 1969 — February 1, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Clifton Ronald Long Jr., affectionately known as "Bo," who left this world on February 1, 2026, after a valiant battle with cancer. Born on October 18, 1969, in Abilene, Texas, Bo's life was a testament to courage, joy, and unwavering love.

Bo was the cherished son of Clifton Ronald Long Sr. and Shirley Long, who, alongside his beloved wife, Cindy Diane, survive him. Bo and Cindy's love story began with their union on October 11, 2002, in Ocala, Florida. Over their 23 years together, they built a life rich in love and laughter, a testament to their enduring bond. Bo was also a devoted brother to Lance Long and Cindy Noel Blue, and he is fondly remembered by a wide circle of family and friends.

A proud graduate of Newcastle High School, Bo pursued further education at trade school, where he earned numerous certificates that propelled him into a dedicated career. He spent many fulfilling years with Raney's / FleetPride in the parts department, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Unfortunately, his career was cut short due to his illness, but his professional legacy remains intact.

Bo’s spirit of adventure was evident in his passion for thrill-seeking activities. He found immense joy in the rush of roller coasters, zip-lining through nature, navigating white-water rapids, and the roaring excitement of dirt track car racing. His love for the outdoors was complemented by his fondness for camping, football, and card games. Bo's adventurous spirit also led him to travel extensively to New Hampshire, Alabama, and Tennessee, creating memories filled with laughter and love.Known for his dry wit and infectious smile, Bo had an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel welcomed and valued. His kindness and generosity left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Bo never met a stranger, and his warmth transformed acquaintances into lifelong friends.

A celebration of Bo's life will be held on February 21, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home, located at 9185 NE 21st Ave, Anthony, Florida 32617. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Bo's courageous battle.

As we remember Bo, let us heed his heartfelt message: "Don't put off the things you want to do, spend as much time as you can with your loved ones and make sure you tell them how much you love them. Life goes by faster than you think, so don't blink. I love you all. Until we meet again, Bo.

"Bo's life was a radiant beacon of love, adventure, and generosity. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched. Rest in peace, dear Bo, until we meet again.
