EUGENE 'BUD', 70
Anthony - Curtis 'Bud' Jarrell passed away peacefully at home on March 20, 2015. Bud was born to Roy and Mazie Jarrell on September 30, 1944, in Ragland, WV, one of 11 children. He has lived in Marion County for over 35 years.
A veteran of the US Army, he worked as a Mason in Construction. Preceded in death by his parents; five brothers: Henry Ray, Jack, Morris, Steve and Howard Roy; and one sister, Virginia Muriel Ferrell. He is survived by his son, Walter Charles 'Chuck' Jarrell; daughters, Begee (Steve) Cade and Lynn Disdier; brother, Charles (Rebecca) Jarrell; sisters, Naomi (John) Cooper of Delaware, OH, and Nyoka Barnhart of Matewan, WV; five grandchildren, David, Richard, Joey, Nathan, Adam; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Countryside Funeral Home, 9185 NE Jacksonville Rd., Anthony, FL from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 22, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at Southern Home Old Regular Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, March 23, 2015, with Southern Home Church Elders officiating. Interment will follow services at Southern Home Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Southern Home Baptistry Fund at Southern Home Church, PO Box 396, Sparr, FL 32192. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home.
