Dale Eric Mason, age 65, of Conner, Florida passed away on March 24, 2024 at his home. He was born on March 24, 1959, in Ocala, Florida and was the fourth generation of his family raised on the Ocklawaha River in Marion County where he graduated from Vanguard High School.
A son to the late Franklin W. and Lois Elaine (Stegmeier) Mason, Dale worked for the Marion County Public Library as a library courier, and was previously a warehouse manager and skilled locksmith. He was a kind, thoughtful friend to many and a passionate sports enthusiast who adored dogs, admired cars, and cherished music. He was a true family historian with an adventurous spirit and a devoted Uncle. He is survived by his niece Cynthia Plesner (Carl) of Leesburg and was predeceased by his brother Michael Carl Mason.
