David Fry, better known to many as Pops, passed away, Friday, March 4th, 2022 at Hospice of Marion County, ending many years of illness.

David was born August 20th, 1951 to Harold and Verna Fry, in New Castle, Indiana.

David is preceded in death by his parents, sister Maggie Fry, sister Deborah Wright, a grandson Jonah Riley and son in law, Stephen Sevick.

David leaves behind a wife who loved him and was committed to his care, Sharon Fry. David’s children, Laurie Stone, David and Deborah Fry, Jennifer Fry, Tiffany Sevick, Steffany and Jeremiah Riley, John Byerly, Kyle and Kayla Byerly. David had 13 grandchildren and one great grandson. David's siblings Jean West, Sandy Fry, Alberta Putt and Harold Fry.

David proudly served his country from 1971 to 1976, in the Army National reserves, where became a sharp shooter and served as a military police officer. He went on to become a builder and masonry. He dabbled in many different things along the way. He owned and operated a fish store and an electronic shop in the Ocala National Forest.

A Memorial service will be held Friday, March 11th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m at the First Baptist Church of Fort McCoy, with Pastor Jeff May officiating.
