David Grant Mollett

David Grant Mollett, age 83, of Belleview, Florida, passed away on January 29, 2026. He was born on January 8, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio a son of Herbert and Loretta Mollett.

He was a Vietnam veteran and served nine years in the U.S. Army. His main occupation was factory work. At the same time he also worked as a part-time deejay at WMOP radio station. For his entire life he was an avid collector of memorabilia and coins and for the last twenty plus years he was a vendor at the Market of Marion where he made a lot of great friends…other vendors and his customers alike. He enjoyed bowling, dabbled in golfing, and enjoyed a healthy competition no matter the game

He is preceded in death by; brother, Herbert Delon.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory; wife, Elma Mollett; sons, Russell Mollett (Jennifer), Grant Mollett; sisters, Aleta Short (Keith), Lorena Brunson; grandchildren, Lacey Mollett and Alanah Mollett.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2026 at Countryside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Anthony Cemetery. Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
