Debra Margaret (SanSouci) Groover

Debra Margaret (SanSouci) Groover, 55, of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on May 7, 2026. Born on June 4, 1970, in Attleboro, Massachusetts, Debra was the daughter of Catherine Dumont and Gordon Dumont of Port Charlotte, Florida. Gordon, her devoted father figure who played an important role in her life for nearly four decades. 

Debra was preceded in death by her father, Raymond SanSouci; her stepsister Debra Dumont and her half sister Donna Perriera; who welcomed her into eternal rest. 

She is survived by her beloved husband, Edmund Joseph Groover; her children, Christopher LeFebvre (Lucy), Molly (Jordan) LeFebvre and Richard Smith; her mother, Catherine Dumont; her brother, Michael SanSouci; her sisters, Vicky SanSouci, Wendy (Michael) Octeau, her stepsister Patricia Dumont and half sister Debra LaMountain; she also left behind five cherished grandchildren; Hunter, Jordan, Avery, Bella & Paityn and her beloved nieces; Jaimie & Remy and step niece Mareana. 

Debra will be remembered for her love of family, especially her grandchildren, her kind spirit, and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her. 

There will be a memorial mass at 11:00am on Friday, June 19th, 2026 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, located at 21505 Augusta Ave, Port Charlotte, Florida.
