Dennis Glisson

Dennis Leon Glisson, age 71, of Fort McCoy, Florida, passed away on February 8, 2023 at home.  Born on June 8, 1951 in Augusta, Georgia a son to the late Franklin David and Madge Elizabeth (Johns) Glisson.

He leaves behind a son Dennis Alexander Glisson and a daughter Denise Karleen Glisson Brother Franklin David Glisson and  Predeceased in death by sister Sally Maxine King. Also survived by four grandchildren Alexandra, Jeremiah, Milana and Leo Glisson.
A graduate of Baker County High class of 1971 and later was honored to serve the country he loved while enlisted in the United States Marine Corp serving on the USS Springfield CLG-7 Marine detachment, Gaeta, Italy. He then resided in Jacksonville , Florida where he was a member of Local 13 International Brotherhood of Insulators and Asbestos Workers. He retired on the beautiful Lake Kerr where he loved to boat and fish often. OOORAH Semper Fi.
