Dinah Lechner

Dinah Maria Lechner, 69, passed away on March 11, 2021 in Palatka, Florida. She was
born January 7, 1952 in Tampa, Florida and lived her early years in Wauchula, Florida
until moving to Tampa, Florida to attend college. She is preceded in death by her
parents, James and Thelma Sellers. Dinah is survived by her husband of 22 years,
Gerald Allan Lechner; sister Lisa Josephsen (Stan) of Escondido, California, brother
Kenny Sellers of Orlando, Florida and sister Cindy Haynes of Apopka, Florida. She was
a buyer for Maas Brothers in Tampa for several years before opening her own fur store
in Tampa, Fur Outlet, Inc. After closing her store, she began a number of
entrepreneurial businesses and took part in various philanthropic endeavors. She was
also a published author and was proud to appear on the Phil Donahue Show. She lived
with her husband, Gerald, in Hog Valley where they enjoyed the good life in the Ocala
National Forest. Dinah will be remembered and missed by many people.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that
remembrances be made to Liz McGrath Circle, 23147 NE 160 th Avenue Road, Ft. McCoy, FL
32134. Arrangements are in the care of Countryside Funeral Home.
