Donald Ray Woodrum

Donald Ray Woodrum, 76, passed away September 1, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. He was born February 11, 1946, in Medford, Oregon to the late Avis and Patricia Woodrum. MSGT Donald proudly served and retired with the United States Air Force after 26 years. He met and married his beloved wife of 50 years while in service, Cathy Jean Woodrum.

Donald enjoyed growing and eating hot peppers, every pepper he came in contact with, he tamed. He was an avid historian of military history and guns in America. He collected Busch beer steins and caps with Military slog-on's. He was a long time member of the American Legion Hall and VFW's in both Hudson, FL and Little Rock, AR.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Cathy Woodrum; daughter, Lisa Joneses, of Grants Pass, OR; granddaughter, Ashley Marshall, Ashland, OR; and brother, Norman Robert Meeds (Deborah), of Albany, OR.

Graveside service with Military honors will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Fort McCoy Community Cemetery, Fort McCoy, FL.
