Dorcas Y. Elson

Dorcas Y Elson, 87, passed away on June 29, 2026 in Ocala, Florida. She was born February 27, 1939, a daughter of Marvin and Ruth York.

She is preceded by her husband; Ed Elson;

She is survived by her sons; Dennis Harrington, Daniel Harrington and Earl Harrington, Jr., daughters; Doris Stavola and Diane Calloway, brother; Kenneth R. York, sisters; Mary Y. Chrisman and Phillis Rico, nineteen grandchildren, forty great grandchildren (and one on the way) and two great great grandchildren, (and one on the way.)

A service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Sparr Baptist Church.

Countryside has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
