Doris Jean Diamond

Doris Jean Diamond, 93 of Cape Canaveral, Florida passed away peacefully on October 2, 2023. She was born on January 15, 1930, in Linville, Virginia to Roy and Bertha McMullen

In her early years she was a talented journalist. Doris was an avid volunteer. Her talent was appreciated throughout her community and church family. Doris with her strong faith in God was a member of Saint Paul’s Methodist Church, Ocala Fl.

Doris is survived by her children, Frank Tomlinson Jr. and  Susan Tomlinson Carter, granddaughters Tracey Prospero and Kimberly Pizatella, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. 

The memory of Doris Jean Diamond will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.  She was predeceased by her husband Jack E. Diamond and will be laid to rest with him at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Her service is scheduled for October 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
