ROBERTS, DORIS JEAN, 75
Ocala - Doris Jean Roberts went home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2015. Born in Walton, WV, she moved to Ocala from Ripley, WV in 2000. She was a minister's wife and homemaker who enjoyed quilting, reading and good Gospel music.
Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Velma Moffatt; her husband of 50 years, Danny Roberts; and brothers, Thomas, Don and James Moffatt.
She is survived by son, Scott (Shannon) Roberts; daughters, Elizabeth Roberts and Jan Roberts; brothers, Ben and Bobby Moffatt; sisters, Nancy Carter, Mary Hall, Susan Perry, Linda Moffatt; and four grandchildren, Jeremy, Christopher, Gianna and Liam.
A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at Sparr Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Caple officiating. Interment will be at Eventide Cemetery in Spencer, WV.
