OCALA- Dorothy Edith Donnelly, 84 , passed away December, 6 2021 in Ocala, Florida. She was born February 3, 1937, in Long Island, New York to Henry Lorenz and Marie Brodesser. She moved to Ocala in 1975 with her family. She was a home maker while also working retail at Silver Springs attraction, and Sears. She enjoyed home decorating, a good sale as well as visiting with her family and friends. She was also a member of the Eagles as well as the Elk's Club and VFW.

She is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Christina Peters.

She is survived by her sons, Keith Donnelly (Suzie) and Ron Donnelly (Scarlet); daughter, Heather Maxwell (Jared); brother, George Lorenz; sisters, Barbara Murphy and Marie Lorenz; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home, 9185 NE 95th Street, Anthony, Florida 32167.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Marion County PO Box 4860 Ocala, Florida 34478.
