Thomas Douglas Lowe

Thomas Douglas Lowe, "Doug", age 85 of Oakwood, Georgia, passed away on September 27, 2026. He was born on May 17, 1941 in Red Level, Alabama a son of Dewey and Evie Lowe.

He was preceded in death by his infant boy and his brother, Art Lowe.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his wife, Delores Lowe; daughters, Caren Davis (Ken) and Deanne Bailey (Eugene); brothers, QV Lowe (Ginger) and FE Lowe (Cindy); sisters, Loyette Watson, Evelyn Wood and Shirley Homan, five grandchildren, Douglas Rhoden, Caycee Fairbanks (Kyle), Garrett Davis, Shane Bailey; and great-granddaughter, Hallie Rose Fairbanks.

Doug loved his family! He served the Lord his entire life and had a big heart for helping others. His legacy being left to his family is a strong faith in Jesus, love of family in a big way, and to help others when you can. He lived by the motto, "you can't outgive God".

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at Countryside Funeral Home. A visitation will take place an hour prior at 9:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Ocala, Florida.
