Dr. Sharon Kaye Hagen
September 28, 1950 — April 3, 2024
Gainesville, Florida. She was born on September 28, 1950 in Ada, Minnesota, a daughter to the
late Henry and Nora (Sorenson) Hagen. She was a feisty, hard working, loving mother who
never stopped trying to better herself and those around her. Her love for gardening is reflected
on the family horse farm by the countless blooms year round. She was a true warrior who
battled cancer six different times before being diagnosed for a seventh round.
Dr. Hagen accomplished many goals in her lifetime. She worked full time while raising her girls,
went to school full time and graduated with her Doctorate in Psychology from the University of
North Dakota.
In addition to her parents, Dr. Hagen was preceded in death by her husband Terrance, brothers
Harlan, Richard, John and her sister Helen.
She leaves behind one brother Alan (Nancy), two daughters, Amber and Crystal (Scott) and
also two grandchildren, Sierra and Ryver. Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with
the cremation arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be planned in the near future.
