Earl David "Dave" Miller

November 26, 1950 — January 22, 2024

Earl David "Dave" Miller, age 73, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on January 22, 2024.  He was born on November 26, 1950 in Knoxville, Tennessee, a son to the late Clondis Raymond and Vina Jane (Hill) Miller.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by three sisters Lena Burkholder, Margaret Hodges and Myrtle Meyers.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 52 years Kathy (Amos) Miller, a son Eric Miller, two daughters, Heather Miller, Tiffiny (Paul) Wildman, two sisters Betty Dishner, Judy Bowers, and five grandchildren, Grace, Faith, Caleb, Luke, and Emma.  Dave worked for Interstate Brands Corporation for over 25 years.  In retirement Dave spent his time chauffeuring his grandchildren to various activities, fishing (but not catching), camping with his wife and friends, and volunteering for Meals on Wheels. He was a great story teller and loved the Lord.
A Memorial Service has been scheduled for February 17th at 1:00 pm at Trinity Baptist Church.  Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
”His Lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.’“ ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ .  Dave was a man of great faith, instilling the same in his family. He believed in investing his time, talents, and treasures in his church, prayer, reading his Bible, and salvation through Jesus Christ. He will be missed. His family and brothers and sisters in Christ rest knowing they’ll reunite again in Heaven.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider donating to Trinity Baptist Church, the Salvation Army, or your favorite local charity. ”For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.“ ‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
