Ocala - Eber William Hurd, 98, passed away peacefully September 19, 2015. Born July 29, 1917 in Petosky, Michigan, to Eber Alonzo Hurd and Ida Belle Merike Hurd. He was a veteran of the United States Army Corps and retired from General Motors after thirty years working as a machinist. He is preceded in death by his wife, and parents. He is survived by his son, Michael Hurd. No services currently pending at this time.
