Edward Rossi, Jr.

Ocala - Edward William Rossi Jr., 75, passed away July 30, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born on September 19, 1943, in Meriden, Connecticut. He was a teacher for 38 years at EC Goodwin High School in New Britain, Connecticut.

He is preceded by his parents; Edward Rossi Sr. and Helen Nowicki Rossi; Brother, Michael Rossi; and several Aunts and Uncles.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Lora Rossi; daughters; Maricsabel Clini (Paul Jr.), Jillianne Willett and Maria Rossi; Grandchildren, Paul Clini III, Sophia Clini, Raquel Solla Dreadon Willett, Spencer Willett, Justin Carta and Tyler Carta; great-granddaughter, Alaina Carta.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 1, 2019, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Ocala, FL with Father Raul Valdez officiating. The family will receive friends from 8:30-9:30 am, on Thursday, August 8, 2019, at John J. Ferry and Sons Funeral Home, 88 E Main Street, Meriden, CT, 06450.  A final memorial Mass will be held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at 10:00 am, Thursday, August 8, 2019, with the inurnment to follow at the church cemetery.
