Elizabeth June Franklin

Elizabeth June Franklin passed away peacefully at home in Ocala, Florida, on December 27, 2025, at the age of 95.

June lived a life centered on family, love, and quiet kindness. She was happiest surrounded by those she loved. To her family, she was a steady presence, a comforting voice, and a source of unconditional love.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband,Edgar Robert Franklin; and her son, Bobby.

She is survived by her siblings Robert Cornelison, Gracie Higgenbothem, and Joyce Reed; her daughters: Carol Frazier, Elizabeth Garwood, and Catherine Swarm; eight cherished grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

June will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her caring heart, and the special role she held as Grandma June to so many. Her memory will continue to live on through the generations she helped shape.

A funeral service will take place on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. with a visitation an hour prior. Interment to follow at Florida National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Alzheimer’s Association.
