Elizabeth A Wallace

August 15, 1932 — May 14, 2024

Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Wallace of Anthony entered her Lord's heavenly gates on May 14, 2024. She was born August 15, 1932 in South Bend, Indiana, the tenth of eleven children to Alexander and Helen Cholaj. Betty married William John Wallace July 14, 1951, and together they had three boys: William Jr and his wife Linda of Anthony; Robert and his wife Vanessa of Dover, DE; and Brian and his late wife Shirl of Albany, GA. Betty was blessed with nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Betty's devotion to and love for her family and friends was second only to her love of the Lord. She was one of the original members of Christ the King Catholic Church, where she was involved in many different organizations that served her church and the local community. Betty was a true patriot: a loyal Marine wife, and a proud American who loved and wore anything Red, White and Blue that celebrated her love for this country. Betty worked for and retired from the Bell Telephone Company in Ocala, and volunteered for many years with Brother's Keeper. To definer her life in a few short lines is impossible. A viewing is arranged for Wednesday, May 29th from 5-7 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home in Anthony. The funeral is scheduled for Thursday May 30th at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Citra.
