Ellen Anne Harvey

On May 14 th , 2025, a beautiful soul went to be with the ancestors. Ellen Anne Harvey, also known as “NANA” and “Mother Goose”, was born on August 1 st , 1946, in North Miami Beach, FL. She goes to be with her parents, Philip and Eleanor Cooper, her husband Jon L. Harvey of 47 years, her sister Pamela Cooper, and one of her grandchildren, Jacob Harvey.

She leaves behind, but to one day reunite with, her son Jon P. Harvey (Wendy), daughter Renee D. Ashbaugh (Mark), grandson Jonathon Harvey (Mariah), granddaughter Captain Makayla Olds (Justin), granddaughter Camille Ashbaugh, grandson Mathew Neyens, great-grandson Beau Olds, great-granddaughter Jennie Crofoot, siblings; sister Jane Matijasic, brother Michael Cooper (Luz), sister Noreen Heavlin (Bill), her dear grand dog Zelda Rose, countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and others. 

She had very few friends because everyone she met was considered family in her eyes. Her passions were the ocean and the mountains. Bringing joy to children, animals and others brought her happiness. She is wise beyond measure and always found the good in everyone. At her request, she elected to not have a service. If you truly knew her you would understand. Besides, she will always be in our hearts therefore she has never really left us.
