TAYLOR Jr., Ernest James
Ocala - Ernest J. Taylor, Jr., 80, went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 6, 2017. Born May 7, 1937, in Chester, Pennsylvania, to Ernest and Pearl Collins Taylor. He has lived in Marion for the past 50 years and worked as a maintenance supervisor.
Ernest is preceded by his parents and sister, Joan Elaine Ford.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Bobbie Jean Taylor; son, Ernest H. Taylor (Robin); daughter, Kim Marie deRahn (Rufus); sisters, Carol Burttram (Burt), Joyce Zebley; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Friendship Baptist Church, Reddick, FL with Pastor Buddy Cranston officiating, Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL
