Ethel Cooper
November 17, 1929 — September 24, 2015
Ocala - Ethel Turner Cooper passed away September 24, 2015. She was born in Ninety-Six, SC, on November 17, 1929. She had eight sisters and one brother. She moved to Ocala in 1956 from Greenwood, SC and worked as a cashier at the Big Giant Food Store in the late 50's, and then worked at the former M&C Bank, retiring from the Bank of America after thirty years.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Jo Cooper and her husband, Billy S. Cooper; sisters, Josephine, Ruth, Doris, Henrietta, Sue, Tura and Mazell.
She is survived by her daughters, Dawn Cooper Hanratty, Diane Cooper Hart; four grandchildren, Jay Michael Sasina, Deborah Nicole Hanratty, Michael Joseph Hanratty, Austin Tucker Owen; brother, Bo Turner; sister, Rachael Kirby and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be Sunday, September 27, 2015, at 4:00 p.m., at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
