Ezra Walter Johnson

Ezra Walter Johnson, also known as “Shorty” and “Johnnie”, age 87, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on August 28, 2024, at Grace Davis Hall Hospice House. He was born October 12, 1936, in Columbus, Georgia, the oldest child of five, to the late James and Hazel (Turner) Johnson. Ezra was a graduate of Anthony School, served in the United States Air Force, and most recently, was the owner and operator of Little One Alternator and Starter until his retirement in 2008.

His memory will be forever cherished by his devoted wife of 61 years, Judith Lee (Taylor) Johnson and his two children, Julie (Greg) Ennis and David Johnson, of Ocala, Florida, and grandsons Dillon Ennis and Connor Ennis.

The cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Ocala.
