Frank Wilson

Frank Charles Wilson, age 79, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on February 27, 2023.  He was born April 6, 1943 in Kokomo, Indiana a son to the late Ralph Carl and Zulia Ann (Pierce) Wilson.  He was also preceded in death by a daughter Stephanie Macarages, three sisters, Betty Biddle, Dorothy Polk, and Jane Silence and a son-in-law, Scott McFadden. His beloved chihuahua ChiChi also preceded him in death by two days.

Frank moved to Florida from Kokomo, Indiana in 1977 to purchase and run Superior Aluminum Company. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 34 years Claudia Jean (Eason) Wilson, two sons Jody (Karla) Wilson, Jerry (Kathy) Wilson, three daughters, Cathy (Scott Muder) Eason, Becky McFadden, Billie (Tim Lambdin) Davis, four brothers Rick, Dick, Jack, Bill, a sister Jeannie Stackhouse, seventeen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Frank spent his life devoted to his family and was a friend to all who were lucky enough to cross his path. He was known for his great smile and had an infectious laugh. Frank worked most of his life in the construction field, but had many other interests and skills. In addition to his contractor license, he was a licensed realtor, a certified radon mitigator, notary public, and in his 70's became welding certified and got his motorcycle license. His vast experience and knowledge accumulated as a community development project manager; a position he retired from in 2006.

A celebration of life will take place March 11, 2023 at 5232 S.W. 52nd Street. We will gather at the red barn and share  covered dishes, memories, and stories. Drop by anytime between 2 and 6 to visit with family and friends of Frank's. Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
