GEORGE WILLIAM HAND
SALTSPRINGS- George William Hand, 62, passed away December 12, 2021 in Salt Springs, Florida. He was born November 8, 1959, in Lenoir, North Carolina to Robert and Betty Hand. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Hand and is survived by his mother, Betty Annas Hand of Salt Springs, Florida.
Known as “Deisel,” to his fellow drivers, he was a long-distance trucker, traveling from North Carolina to California, owning his own trucking service, Westbound Inc., and also drove for Barlow Construction.
Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
