Salt Springs - Henry Lee Matthews, 71, passed away March 9, 2017. Born in Tampa, FL on September 17, 1945 to Henry Arlington and Nina (Griffin) Matthews. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a security guard.
He is survived by his companion of 25 years, Shirley Poock; son, Lee Matthews, of Plant City; step-son, James Poock; step-daughter, Teresa Mullins; and grandchildren, Bailee, Austin, Josh, Matthew and Dustin.
Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Salt Springs Christian Church, with Pastor Walt Miller officiating. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home.
